Full Description
Sestertius of Philip I or Philip II (AD 244-249). Obverse, IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG laureate bust right, Reverse, PAX RETERNA Pax standing left holding branch and transverse sceptre. Mint Rome M and S 184 or 268. 1965. Found in farmyard at Walk Farm. Retained by finder W E Prescott, Walk Farm, Tunstall, Woodbridge (S1).
