Full Description

Large curvilinear enclosure with S side obscured. W side respected by line of public footpath and former field ditch (now ploughed out). Rectangular enclosure, CAV 016, within (S1).
North and West sides shown as field boundaries on the 1848 tithe map, the enclosure itself forming a part of `Roughens Meadow', a pasture field belonging to Thomas George Heigham of Houghton Hall (S2).
