Full Description

Ring ditch, circa 15-20m diameter (S1-S4). NB Originally recorded at NGR TM 22483646.
A possible Bronze Age round barrow is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs, centred on TM 22483647 in Shotley parish. The ring ditch encloses an area around 18.5m in diameter and is bisected by the modern field boundary. The ring ditch may the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow. (S1-S6)
