Full Description

Ring ditch, circa 15m diameter. Within area of rectilinear ditch system SLY 009 (S1)(S2)(S3). (NB Originally recorded at NGR TM 22483627).
A possible Bronze Age round barrow is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs centred on TM 22483627 in Shotley parish. The ring ditch encloses an area of around 20m in diameter. See SLY 006 for the Later Prehistoric or Roman field system and SLY 125 for the Post Medieval field boundaries. (S1-S5)
