Full Description

Bronze unlooped palstave with shield pattern decoration. Badly corroded. Length 15.5 cms.
Found in February 1957 (Weston Ditch, West Row) on surface of peaty plough soil (S1,S9).

Class I, group I palstave of the early MBA (S6).

Purchased by BSEMH on 13th March, 1957.
