Full Description

Socketed axe found at Mildenhall, illustrated with 2 pairs of 3 diverging ribs on each face, resembling wing faceted form (S1)(S2)(S3). Found `near Mildenhall' (S4) in 1900. Linear faceted socketed axe with loop. Faces decorated wth 2 groups of 3 diverging ribs terminating in 2 pellets with isolated central pellet. Edge damaged. 10.8 cms long, 186.29 gms, formerly Prigg then Evans Collection (S4)(S5)(S6). LBA 4/EIA 1 (S7). The drawings in (S1) and (S5)(S6) are not similar. Are these separate finds or a bad drawing/s?
