Full Description

Scatter of C13-C16 pottery (including glazed ? London ware), dark soil, brick and tile, glazed tile, lava quern fragment. This and the smaller adjacent area (BFD 011) front a footpath on the N side, which is suggested to be a former road from Bredfield to Melton (S1).
Concentration of metalwork - Nuremburg tokens, gilded spur arm, buckles, coins (Henry II or III, Edward I) etc. - found in same area (S2).
