Scatter including coins (mainly C4 up to Valentian), brooches, some grey ware pottery (micaceous), a multi-pierced ? necklace link (? date) and a late buckle, Hawkes & Dunning 1961 Type Ib (S2) (? Rom or ESax).

Full Description

Scatter including coins (Antonia, Hadrian, Carausius, mainly C4 up to Valentian), brooches, some grey ware pottery (micaceous), a multi-pierced ? necklace link (? date) and a late buckle, Hawkes & Dunning 1961 Type Ib (S2) (? Rom or ESax). Also evidence of bronze working including a failed ? annular object - ? date. Found metal detecting (S1)(S3).
March 1993: Further metal detecting finds include bronze bracelet fragment and further 10 Rom bronze coins (S1)(S3).
Oct 1993: Also bronze sprue cap waster, a further 7 bronze C3/C4 coins, a Hod Hill type brooch fragment and a bronze cast winged figure, possibly of Lasa, broken from a vessel(?)(illustration in file)(S3).
Also BA - two fragments bronze objects and ESax metalwork & a few Med items and Un.
Further Rom metalwork to SW - HNY 005 area.
