Monument record COR 047 - Cropmarks at Church Farm

Please read our .

Summary

The cropmarks of an undated, but potentially medieval date, enclosure and associated field boundaries are visible on aerial photographs to the south of St Bartholomew’s Church (COR 019). The relationship of the enclosure with the surrounding landscape and the church would suggest that it is likely to be medieval (or late Saxon/medieval to post medieval) in date, however the nearby presence of Roman finds must also be noted (COR 004, COR 045).
