Summary

The site of earthworks of medieval to post medieval date is visible on aerial photographs. Earthworks of boundaries, tracks and building platforms were visible on the aerial photographs, but were not mapped as the features were largely consistent with features depicted on the Ordnance Survey First Edition map. It is possible that additional earlier features were present, but hard to be certain.

January 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The site of earthworks of medieval to post medieval date is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). The site is centred on TG 5046 0044. Earthworks of boundaries, tracks and building platforms were visible on the aerial photographs, but were not mapped as the features were largely consistent with features depicted on the Ordnance Survey First Edition map (S3). It is possible that additional earlier features were present, but hard to be certain.
