Summary

The soilmarks and cropmarks of a former bank and ditch along the Flixton and Oulton parish boundary are visible on aerial photographs. The ditch component was previously thought to form the southern part of an enclosure or moat (see FTN 012).

April 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The soilmarks and cropmarks of a former bank and ditch along the Flixton and Oulton parish boundary are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S3). The ditch component was previously thought to form the southern part of an enclosure or moat (see FTN 012).
