Full Description
May 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
Cropmarks of undated linear ditches are visible on aerial photographs (S1) on land to the north of Beach Farm, Benacre. It is possible that these features represent medieval to post medieval field boundaries, or that they may be post medieval drainage ditches, although they are visible within a background of geological ‘noise’ and have therefore been recorded with a hint of caution since they may also be geological in nature.
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 22nd May 2014.
