Summary

The soilmarks and cropmarks of an area of field boundaries largely of probable medieval to post medieval date, although an earlier date is possible, are visible on aerial photographs. The site also includes some fragmentary ditches following a different alignment that are likely to be pre-medieval, in particular within the southeastern part of the site.

April 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
The soilmarks and cropmarks of an area of field boundaries largely of probable medieval to post medieval date, although an earlier date is possible, are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S5). The site also includes some fragmentary ditches following a different alignment that are likely to be pre-medieval, in particular within the southeastern part of the site.
