Full Description
June 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
Cropmarks of fragments of ditches which may relate to field boundaries, trackways, possible enclosures and at least one possible ring ditch, are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2) to the south of Benacre Road, Benacre. These cropmarks are fragmentary and ephemeral, and visible against a background of geological features, and have therefore been mapped with a note of caution. It is possible that the archaeological features extend further than those mapped.
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 5th June 2014.
