Full Description

June 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
A line of World War Two anti-tank cubes is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2) on land to the east of Dam Lane, Kessingland. This structure forms part of the defence of the Hundred River, along with the anti-tank ditch to the north (SHER KSS 038), and it is possible that a further structure may be visible to the south of the A12 at this point, perhaps forming a temporary road block, although it was difficult to be certain of this from the available photographs.
E. Ford (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 25th June 2014.
