Full Description
May 2014. Lothingland, Lowestoft and North Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Mapping Programme.
A group of World War Two air raid shelters is visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2). Two areas of entrances to sub-surface air raid shelter are visible (and have been mapped using an ‘extent of area’ not individually). Another group of structures to the north may also represent surface air raid shelter or military/civil defence structures of another type.
S. Horlock (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 20th May 2014.
