Road running N-S from R. Gipping (Sharnford) visible on air photograph of CDD 003 etc. (S1)
Part of main Colchester - Caister line (Margary 3c), sectioned at CDD 003. Adjacent scatter of finds BAY 015.
AP held by SCC Planning, mid 1970's, plotted SAU circa 1980.
Cropmark of a ditch visible for 192m, presumed to be one side of the Roman road, heading south from the fort. There was no evidence on the available photography for a parallel ditch, or central surface. Helen Saunders (Essex County Council), February 2014. (S2-S4)
