Full Description

Multiple structures within the grounds of Shrubland Park associated with military activity during WWII centred on TM119527 and TM11885309. At least 20 structures are visible on multiple RAF photography from 1944, although the buildings have been removed or demolished by 1946. Other activity may have been taking place elsewhere in the parkland, but this is not as clear. Helen Saunders (Essex County Council), Feb 2014. (S1-S3)
