Full Description

Ridge and furrow of possible medieval date is visible as cropmarks to the west of the River Gipping, centred on circa TM095534, Barking parish. The continuous areas of cropmarks have been cut by changes to the field layout and modern drainiage. The ridges appear quite widely spaced. Helen Saunders (Essex County Council), April 2014. (S1-S2)
