Full Description
Complex rectilinear field system, with trackways (S1)(S2). Extent extended to the east after (S3)
N of ring ditches WHR 006, 007.
Also Rom in this area, WHR 010.
Cropmark complex with enclosures, trackway, field boundaries and ditches of prehistoric date. The double ditched rectilinear enclosure is incomplete but is 239m by 95m. A smaller rectangular enclosure is located within the larger one and is 43m wide but is truncated by a track. Two oval enclosures, one complete, the other incomplete, are located to the south (17m and 23m in diameter respectively), with an extensive network of field boundaries and ditches surrounding the enclosures.
