Full Description

Field system including a number of rectilinear field boundaries and several miscellaneous lengths of field ditch. Also an enclosure of irregular shape, FRT 028, and a N-S length of trackway (S1).

Cropmarks of several miscellaneous lengths of field boundary on various orientations of unknown date, with a large rectilinear enclosure and trackway of possible prehistoric date. The trackway is visible for over 800m, although there are several interuptions in the ditches. The rectilinear enclosure is 210m by 141m with no visible internal features. Other cropmarks visible include extensive field boundaries, sections of ditch and an extraction pit. The site is adjacent to the causewayed enclosure (FRT 005).
