Full Description

Three probably Post Medieval quarries, visible as earthworks at TM 442578, TM 443578 and TM 445577, northeast of Hazlewood Marshes (S1). The western quarry is recorded as a 'sand pit' on the 1st edition 25" (S2) and the eastern quarry is in the area of a 'crag pit' on the 1st series 1" (S3).
