Type and Period (1)
A line of World War II barbed wire, visible in 1941 extending south 400m from the east road from Covehithe. The wire seems to be designed to restrict access to the cliffs and particularly the Coastal Artillery Battery located at Covehithe (S1). The site has since been eroded away.
