Full Description
A Post Medieval pier can be seen at Methersgate Quay, at TM 28294640, on photographs taken in the 1940s. The pier, approximately 24m by 12m, can be seen as a three sided, rectangular structure protruding into the channel. (S1-S2) A structure of similar dimensions can be seen on the Ordnance Survey 1st and 2nd Edition maps of circa 1884 and 1904 respectively. (S3-S4) The landing point has been reconstructed in recent years. (S5)
