Full Description
Two short stretches of slit trench are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1941 and 1942, centred on TM47345973. Each trench is approximately 3.5m in length and 1m wide, and they are roughly 3m apart. They are orientated roughly north-west to south-east, and located in the garden of Drake House. They are positioned so that anyone staitioned in them would have good visibility over the junction of the B1353, the main road in Thorpeness. (S1-S2).
