Two bomb craters of Second World War date can be seen on contemporary aerial photographs, at the eastern edge of Martlesham Heath, Waldringfield parish.

A small rectangular ditched enclosure of unknown date is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs to the north of Martlseham village, Martlesham parish.
