Monitoring of footing trenches revealed a single undated pit.

Monitoring of footing trenches located an undated pit and possible peat filled hollow but did not locate a former green boundary or indication of associated medieval settlement.

A small pit is visible as an earthwork on imagery from a lidar survey flown in 2015. It is similar in size and appearance to a second pit, located 75m to its northwest, which may be the site of a Second World War spigot mortar emplacement (STN 097).

Monitoring during the instalation of a weater station revealed evidence of redeposited soil and a single undated pit and fen deposits near Wangford Fen.
