Cropmarks of field boundaries depicted on 1st edition Ordnance Survey map are visible on aerial photographs, along with fragmented curvilinear ditches which may represent a possible enclosure.

Several undated linear ditch features are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs on land to the west of Westwood Lodge, Blythburgh. Geological features were also showing as cropmarks in this area.
