Description
Archaeological excavations and monitoring was undertaken during the construction of a new Consolidated Support Complex and a new Family Support Complete on the east side of Boston Drive at RAF Lakenheath. The fieldwork identified extensive Middle Saxon occupation consisting of field systems, pits and a distinctive pit group.
