Description

Archaeological monitoring was carried out on a series of small hand-excavated test holes inside and around Abbey Farm Barn. These test holes were excavated to investigate the depth and condition of the building for engineering purposes. A Further hole located to the north was machine excavated to uncover the extent of a large ditch feature (S1).
