Description
Two phases of excavation covering 6653sqm was carried out ahead of development, funded by Wimpey Homes. An earlier phase of excavation was carried out in 1998 and another in 1999. The total area of all four separate excavation phases totalled 2.85ha. The site produced Roman and Anglo-Saxon features (S1).
