Full Description

Oct 1951: TL 7556 7353 `A few RB sherds found 9.10.51 - a well marked dune worked by rabbits. Dark upcast on top of dune' (S1,S4).
1970: TL 7561 7347 `Scatter late sherds' found by M Lindsey. Nov 1980: Field walking survey of Icklingham Plains located thin scatter of Rom pottery, including Samian, Nene Valley, shell gritted, micaceous and non- micaceous grey ware and non diagnostic brick/tile fragments, on sandhill with darker soil disturbed by (?PMed) pits (S2,S3,S5).

Prigg probably excavated this site in 186

Close to further Roman site, IKL 055.
