Full Description

1989: Flint tranchet axe found during fieldwalking (S1). 15.5cm long x 3.7cm wide x 2.6cm thick (max). Roughly triangular with a narrow (2.9cm wide) & rounded blade. Blueish-white patination, (S1).

1994: Flake and Blade found residual in Iron Age feature during excavation, (S1)

1995/1996: Topsoil stripping over new areas, found no definate features, (S2).
