Full Description
1964-1968: Scatter of Mesolithic flintwork from area along River Dove terrace covering part of two fields from ploughed surfaces. Mesolithic finds from 1964-1968 listed as `microliths, cores, scrapers, hammer stones, a burin, a small flaked axe and numerous blades - many retouched, some serrated - all either patinated bluish-white or unmarked grey/black flint' (S1).
June 1993: Further Mesolithic? flints found fieldwalking (sites B1-B3) in same general area (see S2 & S3).
