Full Description
Lime kiln surviving at Blakenham Chalk Pit, visited by SIAS (un-named). Listed in (S1). 'A pair of apparently well preserved East Anglian lime kilns within a large chalk pit also containing extraction tunnels [adits to NE?; compare to Bury St Edmunds sites] ; of clear national importance' (S2).
