Full Description

1994: Monitoring revealed a scatter of burnt flint, on the western edge of the field which also contains BCG 006. Small quantities of Roman Greyware and Medieval coarse and glazed wares were recovered from the subsoil. Other unstratified finds inclded post-medieval rooftile and significant quantities of burnt flint. The only freature see was a ditch, recorded in the footing trenches of building plot D3 25m north of the burnt flint scatter (S1).

September 1994: unstratified sherds of Roman grey wares, medieval coarse ware, and a post medieval tile fragment found during site monitoring at RAF Wattisham (S3).
