Full Description

2003: Evaluation identified a single ditch containing a small amount of Roman pottery, as well as Bronze Age pits (S1). See also MSF21320 for evidence of Bronze Age activity.

2003: Excavation identified Late Iron Age/Roman features including a series of ditches forming small enclosures or fields that are probably associated with pastoral farming. A small number of Iron Age/Roman artefacts were recovered suggesting that any settlement associated with this farmland was located elswhere (S2).
