Summary

Cropmarks of uncertain archaeological significance have been recorded from aerial photographs. They comprise what has been interpreted as a possibly Bronze Age causewayed ring ditch. They were not recognised in a subsequent survey of aerial photographs for this area and may be of natural and/or agricultural origin.

Full Description

Causewayed ring ditch visible from APs approximately 30m diameter. Another smaller (possible) ring ditch in same field (S1)(R1)(R2).

April 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
The cropmarks of a possibly Bronze Age causewayed ring ditch, described above, were not recognised on the aerial photographs consulted by the project.
