Full Description
Large group of posts seen at extreme low tide. Unknown function and date but possible fish trap suggested? Combination of rows, single isolated posts and a random group of seven. Clay area seen at same time, also only visible at the lowest tide. Possible former reed bed? Posts appear to have relationship with clay? Unclear but posts possibly coming out of the clay. Maybe former fish trap or lining to former creek. Seen whilst on walk over beach. S1
1880's OS map (1st ed) does show bank at this point so possibly related to this? S2
Photographs exist in parish file.
