A Brass and Iron foundry, labelled as such on the OS maps of 1904 and 1927, though buildings present on earlier 1884 map. Also shown on 1940s AP and 1970s map, however now gone.

Full Description

A Brass and Iron foundry, labelled as such on the OS maps of 1904 and 1927, though most buildings present on earlier 1884 map. Also shown on 1940s AP and 1970s map, however now gone.
Further research needed to establish origins and details.
Probably that owned by W Sawyer and mainly concerned with the boat-building and fishing industry (S1).
