Full Description

2012: Evaluation trenching revealed a ditch. The ditch was orientated east to west and was 2m wide and had a maximum depth of 0.62m. The upper fill was probably a deliberately dumped backfill containing post medieval brick, clay pipe and bottle glass. The ditch corresponds with a field boundary recorded on the 1st Ordnance Survey map (S1).

Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2013 (S2)
