Full Description

2014: Two ditches, already revealed in the earlier archaeological evaluation, were investigated, with two additional small pits recorded near the northern edge of the excavation area. Finds from the two ditches were dated to the Middle Bronze Age and Roman period, adding to the archaeological evidence that for activity in both of these periods in the vicinity (S1).

Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2014 (S2).
