Full Description
2014: An archaeological evaluation revealed a modern ditch, a modern pit and two undated ditches believed to be recent in origin. One of the ditches has been interpreted as a possible military practice trench. Eight fragments of medieval to late medieval pottery was identified across the site were also identified on the site (S1). Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2014 (S2).
