Full Description
September 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
One or more enclosures of unknown date, together with fragmentary linear ditches, are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1). A possible ring ditch, or small curvilinear or polygonal enclosure, perhaps of prehistoric date, is visible, together with the bottom corners of what may a rectilinear enclosure, perhaps of Iron Age and/or Roman date. The varying orientation of the linear and rectilinear elements suggests that more than phase of activity is represented.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 7th September 2015.
