Full Description

Pre 1985: Blade-like flake, possibly with use or secondary working. Found in field by Council houses near Rectory, at TM 2147 5391. Formerly recorded as Mesolithic and Neolithic.

1985: Fieldwalking by John Newman for SE Suffolk survey located worked flint scatter on "Field 124", centreing on TM 2152 5393. Finds consisted of 2 flakes with bluish patination (?Mes), 1 ?scraper & 5 other flakes and Iron Age and Roman pottery.

2004-2006
Various Flint found by fieldwalking, (S3).
