Full Description
March 2015. Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty National Mapping Programme.
Earthworks of zig zag trenches and possible spigot mortar and gun emplacements as well as at least one possible practice trench and a possible structure are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S2) on Thorpness Golf Course, Aldringham cum Thorpe. It is likely to represent a strategic defence point to the seaward side of the anti-tank ditch defence (SHER LCS 113).
