Full Description
Site of the Metfield Airfield Communal site No. 2. The site comprised of Officers Mess, Officers Showers,, C.Os Quarters, Sergeants Mess, Sergeants Showers, Airman's Showers, Ablutions & Decontamination, Airmen's latrines, Ration Store, Institute, Grocery & Local Produce Store, Fuel Compound, Squash Court, Gymnasium, Education Block, Picket Post, Emergency Water System Tank, Dining Room. Blast shelters are also located on the site. This was recorded as part of the Eighth in the East Project (S1,S2).
