Monument record BRF 132 - Iron Age Inhumation and pit, and undated ditch on East Anglia One Site 2 Land North of Bullen Lane

Excavation revealed several linear features forming an enclosure. Several other linear features and pits, both within the enclosure and outside of it were shown to be medieval in origin dating to the 12th–14th century. Earlier curvilinear features were Roman in date.

Excavation revealed a Iron Age storage pit and crouched inhumation. The skeleton was radiocarbon dated to 380 to 200 Cal BC. A small circular concentracl of charcoal was located at the top of the backfill indicated a burning event may have taken place after burial (S2).
