Full Description

Building: ? villa. Location marked on OS maps.
Two rooms and parts of another excavated 'by boys of Woolverstone LCC School'. Flint foundations, fragments of hypocaust and furnace, mortar floor.
Seven coins, C3-C4; pottery, including samian C2-C4; window glass; bone pin. Furnace - archaeomagnetic dating to around end of C2. Brief summaries in (S1-S3).
Spoon, pendant, key and vessel found circa 1987 (details in S4).
