Full Description
Two hand-axes found at Chalk Hall Farm. One is mint, 12.5cm long and of black flint, the other is an ovate 8cm long, in sharp condition. 'Brickearth adheres to the mint specimen so it would seem that the implementiferous deposit of the Elveden brickyard (ELV 006) may extend for more than a kilometre' (S1).
Formerly recorded as ELV MISC
